Aaron initially formed Platform 4 Limited to specialise in the preparation and delivery of holistic security and safety requirements for major events. Its specialities include the design and development of major event security master planning from resourcing, sourcing, project implementation, delivery and close out.
At the start of 2012 Platform 4 branched into providing event and security workforce services after seeing a gap in the market to provide an alternative solution for clients and industry personal who want to align themselves with a company which offers a fresh approach to the current service levels offered within the industry.
Chairman and External Board Member
Marc has been acting as the independent chairman on P4G board for the last year. Marc brings a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from over 22 years in the electronic security industry. Having commenced his career in operations Marc has gained a comprehensive knowledge of the security industry having been involved in operations, sales, organisational management and strategic mergers and acquisitions.
During his time as COO for multi national company Signature Security, Marc was able to achieve significant growth and overall cost reduction through the constant pursuit of giving the customer greater value than expected and by ensuring that team culture was aligned with overall business objectives.
On leaving Signature Security after they were sold to Tyco/ADT, Marc has spent time mentoring and providing strategic support to various business sectors.
General Manager - Events
Over the span of his career in the sport, recreation and entertainment industry, Ash has been involved at a strategic level in the operational service delivery and venue security management of many high profile events, festivals, and concerts as well as entertainment arenas and sporting stadiums in New Zealand, culminating in his position as General Manager of Events & Venues for Platform 4 Group.
Currently Ash leads an experienced team of Operations Managers who are enthusiastic and motivated to provide the best customer experience every time to their clients, while ensuring a social, safe, and secure environment for their patrons. Within the P4G events sector, their number one strength is their people.

Dan has years of experience in all facets of the industry ranging from asset management and patrols, to VIP protection and electronics. With over 20 years in the industry and a wealth of experience and knowledge behind him, Dan believes the success of any security operation comes down to detailed planning, and precise execution.
Training and personnel development is high on Dan’s list of priorities and the staff of Platform 4 are as experienced and skilled as any.
General Manager - South Island
Stu has a reputation both locally and internationally for a positive, hands on approach, and provides personal security and consultancy to some of New Zealand’s highest profile people. His ability to work with clients to find the best solutions for their requirements keeps him in high demand. His work with these clients has seen him operating in almost all of New Zealand’s major sporting and event venues.
He has worked closely with many government agencies involved in the Christchurch earthquakes response and recovery process, and continues to provide bespoke security solutions for clients where others have failed.
Stu is an NZQA qualified trainer and assessor, and has trained hundreds of security staff over the years. He has been a part of the security industry training working groups that mould the future of security industry training.
Gary Wyatt's experience in the security industry began in 1998 in the UK, working within football stadia for professional football clubs as a trained safety steward. In 1998, Gary moved to New Zealand and continued to work as a senior event security operator at sporting venues across the North Island. He has also worked at a large number of venues, functions, and events across Auckland over the past 18 years.
In 2002, Gary was appointed as the Operations Coordinator at New Zealand’s most prominent horse racing venue. His experience of coordinating race day operations, events staff, as well as working with key stakeholders has built his level of expertise within the security industry in New Zealand.
At Rugby World Cup 2011 and Cricket World Cup 2015 Gary held a senior position of security communications officer in the venue operations centre of Eden Park.
In June 2016, Gary was appointed Operations Manager within the Events & Venues sector of the company after being selected as the number one candidate out of 65 strong applicants.
Phil brings 15 years of experience working in the event and hospitality sector. Phil has worked closely with Auckland Stadiums, Auckland Live, New Zealand Rugby Union (specifically The All Blacks), and Bar Works hospitality to mention just a few. His role with the All Blacks as a personal protection officer gave him the opportunity to work in many venues throughout New Zealand including Eden Park, QBE Stadium, The Trusts Arena, Westpac Stadium, Yarrow Stadium, Waikato Stadium and ASB Baypark Stadium.
Phil also has vast experience in the hospitality industry, managing a team over 100 security staff throughout Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Queenstown. Phil’s has acquired a unique set of skills and experience in liquor management and de-escalating any potential crowd behaviour issues.
Phil has been part of the management team since 2013 and looking ahead he will continue to be heavily involved with all the major event operations of the Events & Venues sector of the company.
Being a female in what is considered a male dominated industry has never stopped Helen from performing and achieving at a high level. Helen has worked in the Event Security industry since 2007 and has attained over 5 years of Human Resource skills and Organisational experience.
Previously as an Operations Co-ordinator, Helen supported several managers and their different client portfolios. Helen also assisted with staff recruitment and staff training of new employees to P4G. Helen is passionate about working for Platform 4 Group and also helping individuals achieve their professional goals that ultimately will help achieve company goals.
Helen played an integral part of RWC 2011 at Eden Park and North Harbour Stadium where she managed the rostering team tasked with deployment of 200-400 personnel at each event. Helen has worked on the ground as a 2IC Event Security Manager for many years at many events including the NRL9’s, Blues Super Rugby Games, Eminem Concert, Big Day Out 2014, Rihanna, Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, One Direction and many more concerts and sporting events.
In June 2016 Helen’s hard work was rewarded with a promotion to Operations Manager for the Events & Venues sector of the company.
Business Development Manager
Barry moved to NZ from Manchester City in 2009 where he ran his own security business in what could be arguably one of the most challenging cities to work in as a security provider.
Since arriving in NZ, Barry has worked as part of the management team and head tutor for the National College of Security. His responsibilities include managing a team of teaching staff and training over 100 students. He has been instrumental in the development of the course program and will continue to train P4G staff.
Barry joins P4G as the new Business Development Manager and brings a wealth of experience to our company.
William began his career as a security guard within the bustling Auckland Viaduct. He was responsible for a small team dedicated to the Viaduct Basin, Lighter Basin, Hobson Wharf, Te Wero Island and the Viaduct Events Centre. His responsibilities included the flow of marina traffic into the harbour including operating the new pedestrian bridge control at Te Wero Island. He has worked at other events such as the V8's at Pukekohe.
Previously William came from a drain laying and sheet metal engineering back ground, operating cnc press brakes and lasers.
He has a wealth of experience as a Patrol Guard, Static Guard and more recently as a Control Room Operator.
William has a strong work ethic - "I think one quality job is better than 10 half done jobs".
Carol joins the P4G team as the Accounts Administrator with over 20 years’ experience.
Carol has a professional friendly attitude, and a background in both Debtors and Creditors which ensures the smooth running of accounts from a customer and company perspective.
Carol also provides back-up and support to the Payroll team liaising with Manager's and assisting with staff enquiries.
